Morpheus8

Morpheus8 is a non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatment that combines microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy to target the deeper layers of the skin.

This treatment helps stimulate collagen and elastin production, improve skin texture and tone, and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, skin laxity, and acne scars. By delivering RF energy below the skin's surface through tiny insulated needles, Morpheus8 supports remodeling of the skin and underlying tissue for firmer, smoother, more refined-looking results.

Morpheus8 can be used on the face, neck, and body, depending on your concerns and treatment goals. Because treatment is highly customizable, your provider can adjust the depth and intensity based on the area being treated and your skin condition.

Results develop gradually as collagen production increases over time, with improvement continuing in the weeks following treatment.

FAQs Morpheus8

Morpheus8 is an advanced radiofrequency (RF) microneedling treatment that combines microneedling with RF energy to target the deeper layers of the skin and subdermal tissue.

By delivering RF energy through tiny needles at controlled depths, Morpheus8 helps stimulate collagen and elastin production, improve skin tone and texture, and support skin tightening and remodeling over time.

The treatment is highly customizable and is considered suitable for a wide range of skin tones, including Fitzpatrick skin types I-VI, with a lower risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) compared to some resurfacing treatments when performed by an experienced provider.

Morpheus8 can be performed on a variety of areas affected by aging, sun damage, skin laxity, textural concerns, or certain types of scarring. Common treatment areas include the face, neck, decolletage, under-chin / jawline area, arms, abdomen, knees, and hands.

Morpheus8 may also be used in appropriate cases to improve the appearance of stretch marks and post-surgical scars, as well as smaller delicate areas such as around the eyes and lips.

Your provider will determine which areas are appropriate for treatment based on your concerns, skin condition, and treatment goals.

During a Morpheus8 treatment, your provider typically applies a topical anesthetic to help improve comfort and reduce the sensation of the microneedles and radiofrequency (RF) energy.

The treatment is then performed using a handheld applicator with a tip containing multiple microneedles that deliver RF energy into the skin at controlled depths. The applicator is placed against the skin in a precise stamping motion, allowing the provider to treat the area evenly and accurately.

Morpheus8 is an FDA-cleared RF microneedling treatment and is generally considered safe when performed by a trained, qualified provider.

As with any aesthetic procedure, safety and results depend on proper patient selection, provider experience, and correct treatment settings.

Recovery after Morpheus8 is typically mild, with minimal downtime for most patients. Immediately after treatment, the skin may feel warm or sunburned, which usually improves within a few hours. Over the next 2-3 days, mild redness, swelling, dryness, and sensitivity are common. Some patients may also experience light flaking or rough texture as the skin renews.

To support healing, we recommend keeping the skin well hydrated and using a physical (mineral) sunscreen. You can usually return to your regular skincare routine once your skin has fully recovered.

The number of Morpheus8 treatments needed depends on your skin condition, treatment area, and aesthetic goals. However, many patients are advised to begin with a series of at least 3 treatments for optimal results.

For best results, treatments are typically spaced 4-6 weeks apart, allowing the skin time to heal and remodel collagen between sessions.

Morpheus8 is a versatile treatment, and many patients may be good candidates. In general, candidates are those with healthy skin who would like to improve concerns such as acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, mild to moderate skin laxity, uneven skin texture, enlarged pores, stretch marks, or certain pigmentation concerns (when appropriate).

Your provider will review your medical history, skin concerns, and treatment goals during your consultation to determine whether Morpheus8 is a safe and appropriate option for you.
